I have a CF card that I need to read that is Linux based, and I have no clue how to do it. What would be the easiest/cheapest way?

I don't have a CF card reader yet (just ordered one yesterday). I was using a Crestron a/v control processor to read it, and it was unable to. It would recognize the card was installed but couldn't read it. The program the Crestron system uses is Windows based, so I guess I just assumed Windows wouldn't be able to read it.

Everything I have read (Googled) up to this point indicates that the Linux file structure is not viewable with anything other than Linux. I am downloading Ubuntu as I type this.

 Sweet!Originally posted by Viper View PostIt's probably ext2,ext3 or ext4. =)

Need to access files on Linux? Easy! Here is a freeware tool for extracting files from Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, HFS and ReiserFS partitions in Windows. Need to access files on Linux? Easy! Here is a freeware tool for extracting files from Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, HFS and ReiserFS partitions in Windows.

I'll give one of these a try. Hopefully your hunch is right. I really didn't want to have to install another OS just to read this damn card. I'll let you guys know what happens.
