Is there a way to activate a new ATT phone online?

For some reason, AT&T's decided it would be a good idea that their call centers are be closed on the weekends. Does anyone know how to activate a newly purchased phone, without the help of an AT&T rep? Perhaps there is some way to do it on their website or something? I need to shut off my old phone, and activate my new phone. So that I can use it to call people instead of the old phone. (to clarify)
