It's time for consoles to get the next gens out. Visuals have really surpassed consoles, and now the games themselves are being nerfed to be compatible. I never in a million years thought I would upgrade my PC again, but now that I'm working on it more, and it's all expensed, I find myself interested in BF3 for PC. But playing on my projector sitting on my couch is a small tradeoff for having to use a shitty D pad instead of a mouse. I love my console honestly, I can just chill and play it, no driver updates to fuck with, no registry errors, or other stupid shit that interfere with gaming. Especially when you spend all day working... I don't have time to deal with that shit.

Yeah unfortunately I went back to PC gaming lately due to Steam's hard to pass up deals, just so much better performance and the quality is better than Xbox.

But I work on computers all day and I hate to sit in front of one again, but enjoying it more than 360 lately.

Also bought a 27" monitor so that helps now, can sit back like a mug and play like a bitch.

I turned all the settings down to low on my pc.

Why do xbox/ps3 people find this acceptable?

funny! but the settings are the same regardless if you pick low/med/high/ultra.
its all the same.

I also fixed my fps issues, turning off AA and using FXAA instead I went from 40fps min to 70~100+ everywhere outside and in.

I bought a 32" LCD 1080P LG tv, and I have to say it was the best $399 I spent for my computer.

Played the game the whole night. I know it's beta but I wonder how good the graphics are really gonna be for console. I mean i watched PC videos and it looked killer. And on that note no Vehicles are in the Console Beta?? I saw on the PC beta they had vehicles. LAME. That makes me wonder how actual game play will be compared to PC.

I'm sure it will be similar, besides smaller servers for consoles I'm not sure what else they will cut on, but as of now I believe everything else will be the same.

Finally just got a chance to get in on a few rounds when after not being able to last night and I have to say this game is pretty freaking sweet. The game is visually way more appealing than Black Ops, the sounds are way better especially in my turtle beaches. Definitely going to love playing through this game. I'm really tempted to build a new rig just to play it on PC as well.
