I have a question and a bit of juicy news.

Question: Do you guys use headsets? I am mainly a PC gamer, and only bought my PS3 b/c it was cheap and because R* shunned the PC community for the release of this game. I feel a headset would work wonders in teamwork as typing a text message on the in-game phone takes FOREVER

Juicy news: There is still a way to glitch the Los Santos Customs shop and get $$$$ out the butt.

I will be trying tonight, if confirmed, I will share with my friends. I lost my Ocelot F620 and my Sentinel XS for no apparent reason the other night, just went missing from my garage and not listed in insurance. So i am pissed and will be getting my money from R*, one way or another.

Well I will tell you now, I just don't want people going in and selling their cars and then blaming me.

Go in with like a Balla (Range Rover SUV). Sell the car, confirm the sale and right after selling hit start, online, swap characters and confirm you want to swap characters.

Even if you only have one character, DO NOT BACK OUT. Confirm you want to use the only character you have.

At this point you should spawn outside LSC, and you can drive back in and sell it over and over. It does take longer, but it should work.

Once you know this is legit, you can either upgrade your car and get more money out of it, or you can try selling a higher end one.

Good luck. Don't shoot me (online or in real life) if it doesn't work.

For those that might have trouble hijacking armored trucks, use the cargo bob (chinook). But be warned, it's heavy and the chopper struggles to lift it. But you'll be able to get out of the area quickly. Then drop from a decent height, which will kill the guards, then sticky bomb the doors and make with loot. It's even easier if you can use Lester to clear your wanted level as soon as you snatch the truck.

Also my bounty plan works pretty well, not only did I make it work but fell victim to it myself.

So quick question: Say your out, driving around causing chaos then all the sudden, your surrounded by police and you cant get out. They impound your car, you have to steal it back...what do you do?

The first time, I threw tear gas and knocked the guards out...the second time, there were like 15 police officers patroling the area and everytime I approached the fence, I got 2 stars.

I eventually gave up after 4 attempts as my car had 4 flat tires, no rear-end (looked like a boat) and what not. I realized that being in the impound lot prevents your car from being repaired just by backing out of the lobby and joining back in.

Can you call the ins company and have them replace it? I didnt have time to check yesterday to see if this works or if it is gone once the police destroy it.

Stealing it back is super easy, at least to me. Anytime it is impounded, I grab the nearest SUV, park it in front of the moving gates, hop on top of the SUV, hope over the fence and grab it. Sometimes I have to kill the officer by the gate because he instantly starts shooting me. Grab the car, go out the gate you didn't block.

But yes, if the PD destroys it b/c you didn't pick it up, insurance will replace it.

Where can I get the cargo chopper in story mode? Every time I go to the army base, it's not there or it's flying off over the ocean.

I finally found my first armored truck and apparently so did everyone else. I saw a lot of white dots moving towards me and the truck. So I just drove up behind it, tossed a sticky bomb on the back doors (while still in the car) then detonated it when they took off from the red light. Doors blew open, the truck kept driving (lol) and I grabbed about $8k. I've heard up to $14k so I hope to find another one soon.

However, for more nefarious reasons, where are you getting the CargoBob from? I have a evil plan to steal a tank from their base, but I need a way to lift it out.

Story mode, it only spawns at the base. Online, it spawns for me by the airfield in sandy shores and at the airport. Not sure why. I'm at Lvl 25 so it's not like I'm real far up the ladder. It did spawn an annihilator one time but I didn't get in it.

I've used the chopper to get my car out of the impound also. Pretty much, as I told my buddy who just started playing, I fly everywhere, unless there are players in fighter jets. F that. Another way to get your car back is to walk along the wall behind the impound a lot, the wall that your car is usually up against. You can climb on to the building and jump in the lot that way. Buys you time and gives you some distance to engage the cops.

I'm going to try jacking the tank with chopper. Might be tricky. Pretty sure it'll end badly.

I tried to help out some guys the other night, txdrifter and someone else but they shot me and stole the helicopter i was in, lol. Anarchy at its finest.

I've been wanting to assist with a Grand Theft Tank, but how do you latch onto stuff using the CargoBob? i hit the dpad right button and it dropped the hook, but I couldn't ever get anything to latch on.

It's been hit or miss for me. I'll deploy it, and see if it catches or not. If not, then I'll try hiring the right d pad again, and it usually picks it up, although sometimes I've pickup and immediately released something, and at times never been able to pick it up afterwards again. Kinda glitchy, but awesome when it works. Also, it doesn't hook to planes, random scenic stuff, trains, other helicopters (I tried to bird of prey someone's helicopter the other night out of the air) and the parked 18 wheeler trailers that I assume is also scenery.

The 18 wheeler trailers aren't really scenery cause you can back a bobtail under them and drive off. I think it just wont pick up anything over a certain size. Also I haven't been able to successfully pick up and drop anything. I picked up my car earlier today but it wouldn't let it go so I will agree it's glitchy at the least if not just broken.

money glitch does work, however I keep getting spawned back in my apt. so just fyi, sell an expensive vehicle to make your trips worth it.
