Hah, yeah depending on the map I will use different weapons for my tank. The biggest mistake people make is assuming that since I'm in a tank I am oblivious to infantry moving around me. The only way I can get 70 kills is if I get swarmed by an over zealous group of people trying to rage kill me. As long as you keep moving constantly, they have to reacquire where you've moved to so I can see them aiming at me for enough time to pop them. I alternative between my guns so I can keep a constant fire on everyone, no reload times. The only other thing I do is I always pay attention to where I've seen enemy troops and remember they are there, so I don't get surprised.

You should try it sometime, you can devastate in a tank. Personally, I think the canister shot is pretty damn OP right now, but I'm curious if it will ever be nerfed seeing as such a small percentage of people actually use it. I can headshot someone with canister from 1000 meters away occasionally. And within 100 meters you can 1 shot disable a helicopter or jet.

Since my 20th service star on the g36c, i've been playing other classes but I feel so damn useless without rockets especially when you consider how strong vehicles are in this game.

so i've stuck with infantry only servers so far, all it takes for one team to steam roll the other is a single lav/tank. And if they have competent team mates you are pretty much screwed regardless. My friends also haven't been playing up until this week since they are all burnt out on Skyrim. So I've been pubbing it up, next time i'm on i'll look for you.

Mumble. I can get you server info if you're interested. I use to use the G36 exclusively until I discovered the SG553, that gun is the bomb, you should give it a shot.

I play infantry as well, but I do like to indulge is complete decimation of servers occasionally.

Hmmm, I quit using the canister shell because it was so useless. It took two shots on infantry if they were more than 10m away.
I'll have to see how it affects helos.

shit, nothing compares with it. You shoot infantry within 40 meters with it, and they are dead 100% of the time. You absolutely cannot survive it at that range.

I play engineer. I assume he does as well since he's using the G36 (I may be wrong). It has better range, less recoil, and it's more accurate from my experience.

Every single one of my buddies (including me) was using the G36C. Once I switched to the SG553 so did everyone else, and no one went back.

Not sure if you guys are using bf3stats.com but it has a lot more technical data available for your stats. They just added your game history as well, and it's stored far longer and further back than battlelog. You can view your total Kills/Deaths on a daily basis. Really interesting.

I keep with the M16 for assault and M4A1 for engie. Based on specs alone they're 2 of the best guns in the game, 700+ rounds per minute, low recoil, and work well at long range.
