Similar to Dragon Age: Origins, then? I'm completely addicted to that game now (sorry, I'm late to the scene lol).Originally posted by racrguy View PostIf you like stories, you'll like it. I'd say it does a very good job at immersing you in the world because of the voice acting. There are some things that uber star wars nerds will catch that others won't, like more of the backstory behind Taris, but they do a well enough job explaining it so you're not like "why did it get like this"
I'm on Mask of Nihilus, I'm not keen on PvP servers.

They supposedly fixed the DC / relog issue in a patch, but I've never been DC'd so I can't confirm. I do usually have to wait 10 mins or so for my spot to login initially.Originally posted by Aceman85turbo View Posti hope they move some of these guilds off server, these queues are rediculous.
In WOW if you got DC you could get right back in without a queue, here you have to wait 40 mins some times.
As for the Chap 1 bosses - I like it - PVE bosses are supposed to be tough. I like the option for failure.

its typical of older mmo's except now your actions have consequences. every conversation in the game has a positive or negative response to your character. Try it and you'll like it.

I hear that the chapter 1 class bosses are supposed to be tough solo, even with healing companions.

Yeah I am - it actually reminds me a little (a little) of the Agent/Operative.
I haven't tried to run up the levels as fast as i did in EQ/WOW so it's been enjoyable to play a planet story and then switch characters. It feels more like reading a book from 4 different perspectives before you see the next chapter.
Taking on a story boss character and then trying (failing) with another character is frustrating as hell sometimes

You must be an Assassin. My inquisitor is Sorcerer and plays much like most every other pew pew I've ever played.Originally posted by Jedi View PostShes alright - got some interesting abilities and the tree is full of options but i've only got her to 20. I'm used to playing a ranged DPS role, so getting up in the thick of it is a bit of a challenge. Shes got a rogish backstab move thats the tits if you can pull of the positioning.
Its nice having a tank as a companion, but i need to gear him better.
