OK so if you go into Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks do you have an option to disable 3G in there? Mine doesn't but my co-worker does on his T-Mobile phone.

lte, bigger screen, arguably slower cpu.
Mine gives me the same options as above, but i'm running the stock rom (although its rooted).

Thanks for the screen shot, that's exactly what I was looking for. Still dealing with my issues at work and not being able to force a 2G connection and having my phone hunt around for signal. Fortunately this only happens while I'm at work. Unfortunately I've been working 14 hour days so I'm here most of the time

Yeah, if you're able to select Network Mode, you can use GSM, HSPA, and/or LTE. My T-Mobile version has that option but I never looked at it before I put a custom ROM on it.

Any suggestions on ROM's? Gonna pick up an SD Card this afternoon and than do a backup through Titanium and than try some different ROM's and hopefully find one where I can switch between GSM, HSPA, and LTE LOL!
