Do you have to buy an online subscription? I have never played any of the older Diablos just heard how awesome they are. Would I need some uber badass computer to play it on or what?Originally posted by Nash B.Damn, man. Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.

No, I will not be buying it. Fuck activision, fuck them right in the ass with a splintered mop handle. They killed basically everything that was diablo. No more skill tree, no hot keying spells, cool downs on switching spells, no LAN, no PVP. Thank you very much, but I will stick with Diablo 2.

Pretty much this. I spent hundreds of hours playing Diablo and Diablo 2. To say I was excited about Diablo 3 would be an understatement. The closer it's gotten to release the less I'm interested. With the changes to skills it basically becomes late game Diablo 2 of just grinding for items AKA when I would get bored and start a new character. No more building your character.Originally posted by JC316 View PostNo, I will not be buying it. Fuck activision, fuck them right in the ass with a splintered mop handle. I had not heard about the no PVP, not sure why they would do that. Is there still going to be a hardcore mode?Originally posted by JC316 View PostNo, I will not be buying it. I don't believe in shotting any animal past 150 or 200 yards, until their is better technology in 10 or 20 years and we have laser like the predators.

It's supposed to come later, but it's still not enough to save the game. Hardcore mode is still there, but from what I gather, you have to unlock it like in Diablo 2. If they would have keep the tried and true mechanics of the game, just updated the story and graphics, I would be all over this game. For example, I like the idea of training the vendors so you can get more stuff, that seems like a cool addition. The biggest thing that I am pissed about is the cooldown on switching spells and the automatic skill tree. I love customizing my character and developing it how I see fit. Then the little stuff, like no scroll of identify, that pisses me off too.Originally posted by cdite View PostI had not heard about the no PVP, not sure why they would do that.
