Anyone else notice Android market update?

I got some updates yesterday (including the badass google maps 5.0) and noticed the market is completely different now. I think its pretty cool but just different.

They gave the market a little face lift. I manually downloaded it a few days ago. I love the new google maps update. Loads a lot faster, compass, and the 3D buildings are cool too.

ive updated my maps and i still dont get the 3D maps

hmm, I didn't get the google maps 5.0. is it supposed to show in my apps page? (htc EVO)

someone once told me that it's necessary to power down the phone when a new app. or update is installed. is there any truth to this?

there are no 3d maps in dallas yet... ex: check Vegas
