I also beat it this weekend and the ending was better than the first but that's not saying much. However this game has never been about the story it's about the loot and gameplay and playthrough 2 is already kicking my but so I'm glad there is a challenge at least.

I thought a big part of the game was the story, just for the fact that it's so "out there".

i think i'm 25, I played at work most of the day yesterday so I was only doing simple shit and cleaning out my quest log before I move more into the storyline. I got shit for xp.
i did get the minecraft skins though finally.

I am at 29 and you're exactly right, I just got to eridium blight or something and those guys don't play! Holy crap I was getting my butt kicked, I did pick up some awesome gear though
