Anyone fix laptops?

I've got an hp dv2000 laptop and the nvadia chip is messed up I was told an the screen stays black, does anyone fix this? I'm located in fort worth, Thanks

I'd do it, but i'm too lazy to even fix my own. Still sitting on my table in pieces.

I do, done a few of those shitty ass graphics chips. You basically have to take it all apart, heat it up so that it re-seats again. Real pain in the ass and it's a short term fix for some people.

I've fixed a couple of those and other laptop's with cold solder video and power plug probs. As stated...its pretty much a temporary fix...it will likely happen again. I'd suggest getting another laptop.
