If they are in the alpha stage they are 1-2 years from release.

I just wish he would have waited until Arma3 was out and made the mod for that. DayZ is playable now, just frustrating at times with the hacks and bugs.

Bumping this, Moto what was that private hive you play on called?

A couple of guys from work play here, http://bluedotshive.com/ and i've been playing on this since Friday I think.
Admins are great and do events the one last night was a gear grab in cherno but was guarded by 5 dudes.

Since I already have my ghillie and dmr and don't really need "gear" I strolled by to catch people making their way over there and managed to get about 3 or 4 kills before I was spotted and had to gtfo.

Game is way stressful when you play alone.
