I am currently looking for anywhere from 5-7Us to a half cab of colocation space in Dallas/ Fort Worth area. Need to have the ability to run a analog phone line to the CAB. I originally started out working in the data center/dedicated server environment. So I am familiar with how everything works. Just not sure what to expect price wise since I never saw that end of the business. Any insight or help would be appreciated. Right now I have only found 1 place.

HAHA, I know her. She worked at the Planet back in 04 when I did. I have already put a call into Colo4 and I am waiting on a quote from them. Thanks! I also was told Global IP Networks is pretty good. I have called them also. I originally called CoreXchange and the guy was really nice. They were automatically out though when he told me Peter was one of the founders of that company. Slime ball..Originally posted by roliath View PostTry contacting gsalas@theplanet.com

So after a month of visiting prospective data centers and running the numbers I have made my decision. I ended up going with Constellate formally CIHOST.
The pricing is amazing along with everything else. 0$ Setup fee..
Thank you everyone for your time in helping me!

I will agree with you Roliath that they used to be less than stellar. I even told the sales guy that I was very optimistic due to my previous experiences with CI Host. He said he completely understood and that they were not the same company anymore. He asked that I give them a chance so I did. I also know the owner through a friend so that put my at any concerns at ease. Was the person smoking by chance Jeremy lol?Originally posted by roliath View Postci host is terrible man, are they under new management? I remember people used to smoke in their datacenters by the air extractor's.
This was at least 3~5 years ago.
Although i'm sure alot has changed since than.
