We already did....starship troopers and aliens. Halo has heavy influences from both these movies as far as weaponry, armor gear, airships....etc. Everytime I watch those movies they remind me of Halo.

I disagree, I find those to be more reminiscent of the Starcraft universe. There are similarities between them and Halo, but not exactly.

I watched their first 20 minute show today. It's pretty damned good.

ODST sucked, to me, because I'm used to playing as 117 and instead of him, I get a human with limited equipment and strength

I saw the heads up for that. I've been reading the Halo wiki for a week now, burned through the encyclopedia and every book out.
