before posting i was trying to read up on this. i know it is pretty much plug and play. but from my understanding, i need a video card that has two different ports on it right? splitting the one existing port into two cords will only give me the same image twice and not extend my desktop right?

This, or just buy a USB monitor.Originally posted by Tx Redneck View PostIf all your wanting is an additional monitor for desktop space, I'd go this route.
