data transfer

i got the Samsung Capivate. i get home, hook it to my computer, click on mass storage on the phone, and my computer isn't picking it up. i want to transfer pics, music and videos to it. am i missing something? how can i do this?

i am using W7 OS. i got my pics and a couple videos on the phone last night. i will look at that link tonight after i get home.
