anyone with a latop harddrive laying around?

I would if I could find something reasonable, but I don't want to throw down a bill on a laptop that might have a faulty hard drive controller.

Not sure you could find the guy still...but back in November there was a Dell employee that was selling NEW 250gb SSD's in bulk for $75 bucks a pop on craigslist. When I met him in Plano to get one I loosely asked if he was stealing them and he told me that they "give" employees the overstock or discontinued items...yeah...sure they do buddy. I didn't care. New in sealed package Samsung 2.5" SATA SSD...sped up my Macbook Pro immensely.
