Submarine sim game

Does anyone know of a good one that runs a nuclear sub with missiles? I've been playing Wolves of the Pacific and I love it but I'd like something more up to date than WW2

I was thinking something a little more modern. I want to get immersed into it. I played a single game last night for 10 hours, leaving it running at 1/3 speed on a trip to go sink Japanese games and figured there has to be something more modern

It's hard to find any modern military sim games any more. I was spoiled by many of Microprose's games in the day.

Man I used to love playing sub games. Can't remember the name of the one I used to play, might have even been on my old Commodore 64 but it was a WW2 SIM. Game play took a long time but you could speed it up when the action was slow. Another game I used to like playing was a helicopter SIM, something about the Commanche stealth helicopter. It was more fast paced and I loved playing that for a few hours at a time.

4 years spent on a submarine...if it's a realistic simulator, its going to be boring as all hell. You couldn't pay me to do that again.

I'm not aware of any boomer sims. Just some hunter/killer, but none of those are modern. The only sub series that I'm aware of that is somewhat modern is Silent Hunter.

I sorta remember that one but whenever I think about looking it up I'm always at work. And for some strange reason they have anything video game related block up here
