There are and have been solutions for that for a LONG time. Granted the newest crop of Android phones dont have the option of extended batteries...but I have a hard time believing that in an entire day of use some people NEVER have the opportunity to plug a car or home charger in. You can even buy pocket USB chargers now for cheap. People want these things smaller and smaller...yet want 12 core processors, surround sound, GPS, 5G internet, 20MP cameras, and want cinema quality HD recording...and then bitch about battery life. REALLY?? When they come up with a nuclear battery that never has to be charged I can see things getting drastically better. Until then...its a pocket computer that can do more than most desktops could do 10 years ago. They use electricity to do all this neat stuff.

yeah I just might not have had a chance to charge my phone during the work day. I need to pick up a car charger. so my current solution is to just use my s3 till it runs out than swap to an s4 or 5 whatever other phone I have on me.

dude! get urself one of the universal USB car chargers and one of ur many microUSB charger wires. I got chargers everywhere. That and I cant afford more then one phone.

I think its a bit high, but my co-worker handles the company cell phones and iphones go belly up more often than androids.
