I had the gay after 30 seconds it would black screen then poof back to the battlelog. I did this and it worked for me.

The problem

You join a multiplayer game,
then after 10-60 secs (or after you get a kill) you get a black screen with the loading thingy on the top right and the .exe closes . You do NOT get a "bf4.exe has stopped working" ect.

Why does it happens:

Im 99% sure its the punkbuster. I suspect since the last update we got our client version mixed and it doesnt match the servers, so when you do something the information is strange and you get kicked.

How to fix it:

1. Open your control panel and uninstall your punkbuster

2. Run CCleaner

3. Reboot (very important)

4. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\punkbuster\redist

5. Open pbsvc.exe

6. Install and reboot

7. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist

8. Find DXSETUP.exe and install.

9. Reboot and play !

obs: You have to install the version of the punkbuster that is in your bf4 files. DO NOT UPDATE YOU PUNKBUSTER
You can´t install the directx and the punkbuster at the same boot. I don´t know why.

update didn't take for me first time either so i redownloaded it and it works fine...it's not that big of an update

So the expansion comes out today. I download it, and restart my PC. I attempt to join a server with a "china rising" map, and i get an error "You need to download the update"
WTF. Man this is the most buggy game release I've ever encountered.

So I bought the deluxe edition on Black Friday for cheap...hate the game.

First, it crashes randomly for no reason. Secondly, VoIP doesn't work at all in game. I can hear team mates, but they cannot hear me. Yet in TS, all is well. Thirdly, sounds randomly cut out for no reason.

They've ruined it.

The first two problems are probably on your end. My VOIP works great. After updating my video card drivers I have gad 0 crashes.

The sound issue is real fucking annoying though. It only happens on certain maps (for me) so I avoid those maps.

I still like the game.

How are the "skill" scores figured? I've lost a hundred points on a map I went 22-8 and finished top 2.... I don't understand it.

It looks like it's mostly based of SPM. I've had games where I have a 6.5 k:d and only gained 4 skill. On the other hand, I had a game where I joined killed ONE guy and the game ended about 10 seconds after. I got 44 skill for that one.

Seems its completely arbitrary.

I get it....... my opinion doesn't match yours as far as a game goes and you have to, as a duty to the community to spread the Gospel that is BF4. Without it how would we not know we are wrong?

Now if you were to apologize for your past discrepancies maybe the COD community could forgive you and move on. Its a step in the right direction in stopping this FPS on FPS crime.
