Anyone live in the boonies and have satellite internet? I guess I am looking for the best of the worst I guess

Where at in the boonies are you? I used a wireless canopy system for years, still do at my car lot. Gets way better speeds than satellite internet for cheaper.

There are satellite Internet companies out there. But be prepared to shell out the dough we had hughesnet for a short time they were over $100 a month!

I inquired with the wi-five place, we will see what they have to say. I am north west of Gainesville at moss lake. There is no cable or DSL available there, I have looked at a few satellite internet companies but don't really like the idea of a 2 year contract of something I am not sure about.
