  • Recycling old computer parts and cables?

I have a part collection of old computer/electronic devices that I need to get rid of. I would like to recycle them, but not sure about the best place to go? I've got several moving boxes full of cables, and stacks of old networking equipment. Looked at Best Buy for their e-cycle program, but it is more geared to a single item drop off. What has everyone else done?

    What kind of networking equipment?

He will spend the rest of the day wondering if he is gay.

About 6-7 years ago I found a recycling place in Addison that I took my e-waste without any charge. At that time a lot of places wanted to charge the recycler, which makes no sense because they make money off of the waste

I've got some older Cisco routers - 1600 series, a couple of 3COM 16/24 port switches, older 24 port 10Mbps hubs. Just older crap. I think there is a 2611XM in the stack as well.

If you're interested in donating a couple of those older 1600 routers/switches, I'm interested in them for lab use if they still work.
