Is anyone considering this? I got to test drive one a couple of days and I'll be damn it seems worthy of my attention. Not as light as my iPad Air but close enough. The keyboard seems pretty decent. Pen input is straight up damn good.. Core i5 proc (i7 available in August)... Only downside comes from Win8.1 but that is getting to be less of an issue IMO...

So anyone considering this on Friday? I might have to sell my iPad Air..

I love windows 8. Not sure why everyone knocks it so much. Anyway, it seems overly expensive for what it is.

If you compare it to a tablet like the iPad Air, then yes. But a Macbook Air, not so much. It has better specs than a MB air and more capabilities..

But if you think a MB air is too expensive, then you have a point.. haha

I do think a MacBook Air is too expensive...lol
