HipChat is still beta isn't? Maybe use VirtualBox over Parallels. Using an external monitor does make a massive difference, especially when playing games.

That being said, I still want a Mac i think. Just never had one. But in the meantime, I did pickup a laptop yesterday off ebay. I think I got a decent deal. Tell me what yall think and if this will run Photoshop and the occasional video editing.
