Tv is a 2011 or 2012 LED model. Netflix stopped working sometime last week, but says the last update was in January. Apparently this has been happening with samsung tvs but there seems to be no good fix I can find. I tried to upgrade the tv software but it says it is up to date. I reset the smarthub and that did not work, and I cannot figure out how to uninstall the netflix app on this damned thing; I was going to try a reinstall. Any suggestions or has anyone had the same problem and gotten it fixed?

Not sure on that, will look into it tonight. Full tv reset didn't occur to me since most suggestions were about the smart hub and the app having the issue.Originally posted by Magnus View PostIs resetting the smart hub the same as putting the tv through a full reset?
If so. . . man, that sucks. How much do you want for it?I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Check the actual version number of the software, if you can. Mine said that so I forced an update with a USB stick and what do you know, the update was a newer version. Samsung still has a few bugs to work out on a lot of their products.Originally posted by LANTIRN View PostTv is a 2011 or 2012 LED model. Well I was out of town for two weeks, have been back for a week and remembered I needed to fix this netflix issue. The tv fixed itself. The app was gone and the tv automatically downloaded a new app and now netflix works.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

The same things happening a lot to Sammy owners. I have 2014 and 2015 4k Sammy tvs and they both shit out on Netflix randomly for days sometimes while every other device works. Resets, input renames, reloading apps, resetting router does nothing. It just seems to go away after a few days.

If you want to keep your sanity just buy a roku.

Both my tvs have am entire different chipset as one does 4:2:2 croma and the other 4:4:4 so I just think its a weird Samsung traffic error.Comment
So it was like an automatic update that fixed the issue? I'd agree with the last post, its a common problem, and Roku's aren't very expensive. Just use that for netflixOriginally posted by LANTIRN View PostWell I was out of town for two weeks, have been back for a week and remembered I needed to fix this netflix issue. The tv fixed itself.
