Just keep the domain parked until you're ready to create a website. During that time you can use the myriad of email tools afforded to you by have a hosting package. Most or all will support unlimited webmail, pop3, IMAP, bulk emails, etc. And it's very cheap. Were talking $5-$10/mo. for a shared plan + your Annual Domain Renewal w/Private registration

Keep everything you want to do under a single control panel. It's more pragmatic and reduces headaches.
    Thanks.

I suppose i don't really care. It was an honest question so I get what i get. I know jack shit about web stuff. I'm incorporating a business and im going to try to run with a pretty crazy idea, but the work is all academic right now and I have no need for a website. For now, until I care enough to bring in specialists in different areas, I have to ask stupid questions for stuff outside my wheelhouse.

There are some really cheap webhosts out there, some as low as a dollar a month if you prepay a year or two. might be able to find other domains like strictnine.net

Ultimately, most things that are "free" and hosted are not what you'll be interested in. As far as email hosting...etc, you can get that and a domain w/web site fair cheap per year.

Free - will be limited, not secure, no support or otherwise bad for your health.
