networking problem

a couple days ago, my internet went out. well, ever since, my router won't connect to the modem. i can connect the modem directly to my laptop and get internet, but can't connect it directly to my 360 and get online. my ISP tells me there is something wrong with my router. i need help.

Have you tried resetting it via the button on it. It typically takes a paper clip or thumb tack to depress it. Push the button for 10-15 seconds while it's powered on, wait for the lights to come back on and stabilize then try connecting.
