Anyone here do work with HP Procurve switches?

I have a problem between 4 of them and random ports keep resetting, which now it affects our san. ontop of that, our director put his notice in so i don't have the time to fix this issue. It only affects like 5 ports but the logs don't have any errors or corruption.

Either if your company does consulting or yourself. I just wanted it fixed, ha.

I'm not familiar with HP stuff but some basic troubleshooting steps:

Is it isolated to certain network ports? Try different port.
Do you have the ports hard-set? Or Auto duplex? Try hardset if not. Nail to 100/Full - On the switch and client! They must match.
Those are some easy stuff, from there I would upgrade the firmware on the device.

Personally, I'd recommend buying Cisco switching gear and be done with it!

I did the hardset on the ports last night and had no problems this morning. I will see from there. Firmware is already at the latest.
