He got offered the position the same day as The Human Abstract asked him to play bass for them. I thought it was pretty cool, he seemed like he likes touring, he said he wanted to do it for a while. He's even sponsored by Ibanez now.

Yeah, plus he's already played bass for oh sleeper before, when Luke's dad was sick, he covered for him then. He did merch for them a few times before that, too.
