I don't think Rick is being cowardly. I think it's more of a muse so he can study the behavior patterns of the Negan clan before taking action. He maybe acting like a sackless wonder to protect the others from getting any ideas and rallying before knowing what they're up against. JMO

Rick pussing out? No freakin' way. Over the last couple seasons, WD had illustrated that they learned their lesson from the snooze-fest that was season two.

I predict that the saviors are dealt with by end of next season at the latest, and it'll be a fun ride between here and there.

This is definitely a 2 season affair with the culmination at the end of NEXT season. No fucking way they wrap it this season. They are basically out of material aftet this.
