Being only one season left of the show, it was one of the only angles I could come up with where Jax stays to rebuild the club.

Tara dies, Gemma, Jax, and Opie turn on Clay, Jax finds the letters, and decides to rebuild the club the way his dad wanted, and stays to take care of his mom and kids.

Honestly I see the last season being nothing but the club trying to end their illegal ways and go straight, with some trouble mixed in while they do
