  • Super 8 Blu-ray $5.00 off coupon

    Amazon coupon code: WOODWARD

Retail store manufacturer coupon code: http://www.super8coupon.com/ (Use IE to print. People have problems trying to print with FF or Chrome.)

For people the A/V enthusiasts folks out there, like myself. This is a blind buy. It's a J.J. Abrams flick mixed by Anna Behlmer, e.g., Cloverfield, Star Trek, etc..

Put the Outlaw and Emotiva gear to the test, yet again.

That movie sucks, IMDB.com gave it a good rating, but I can tell you it is shit! Don't waste one penny on that crap!

I think it's a good movie. With a Spielberg nostalgic touch and plot line by design. The lossless soundtrack is reference quality. I'll post some waterfalls later of the train crash for people who are a/v enthusiast. Violent amplitude and extension on the LFE channel down to 10Hz, if your gear can reproduce it with authority. Which most can't. About 112dB from listening position. Full tactile room pressurization similar to the sand storm barrel roll scene in Flight of the Phoenix.

Basically looked like a rip off of E.T. Let me also add I'm not a fan of "geek" movies, such as Star Wars and other gay fantasy movies.

So you knew that you weren't a fan of the genre, but saw it anyway knowing that it wouldn't be to your tastes, and now proclaim it wasn't good because it didn't live up to some gold standard that you admit you don't like to begin with? Makes sense.

It was good for what it was, it wasn't trying to be Cloverfield (which I thought was great, but i'm a sucker for j.j. abrams movies). I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't care how good of a story/movie cloverfield is, that fucking camera style kills it for me.
