‘The Walking Dead’ Star Laurie Holden Grabs Female Lead In ‘Dumb and Dumber 2′

The female lead has been cast for Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the 1994 Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly comedy hit Dumb and Dumber.

It’s been reported that Laurie Holden has been chosen for the role of Adele Pichlow, an up-to-no-good wife of a doctor who plans to use Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) to cover up her tracks.

Holden is best known as Andrea on the hugely popular AMC zombie series The Walking Dead, and has also appeared on shows like The X-Files and The Shield, and in movies like Silent Hill and The Mist.

The casting is interesting because Holden’s name and her looks are curiously similar to Lauren Holly, who played the female lead in the original Dumb and Dumber, Mary Swanson.

Jim Carrey used to be one of my favorite actors. The more I find out about what a nut job he is the more I dislike him. It doesn't surprise me that he'd do this. Also, his movies have been nothing but crap lately.

He is in Hollywood, being a nut job is a requirement.
