I thought it was a great series

x2, my wife started watching it and I got hooked. Great story and yeah the ending was a bit abrupt but what else is there to say? The fued was called off, they said what each main character went on to do. Not much else could have been done with it IMO.

Very true but they could have filmed it differently to make it better. I loved the series I just was kind of dissapointed by the end. I guess I'll wait to see what others thought.

I don't like drama? Why the hell would I even post on this site if I didn't like drama?!?!? I don't mind drama, and I think the story behind the feud is interesting, I'm just not sure it makes for the most compelling television.

I watched about 20 minutes of the first part, and was bored. They are fighting over one guy deserting, the other guy stealing a pig, or some crazy uncle shooting a guy cause he said that he was banging his dog... just not all that interesting to be honest with you.

Because the Civil War played a big role in the reason the families are fighting each other. Who said they need to spend more time talking about the war anyways?

Someone else mentioned how they ran through the early years (12) they talked about it and they are concentrating on the actual family struggles with each other. That imo should be what the show is about. You want a history lesson, they go rent a film about the civil war, bitch!

Its pretty good, I really don;t see why they have to spend time talking about the civil war, this sint about the CW it is about the fueding families. They are keeping with the true history if you ask me.
