Ugh. I've seen them three times now, and it's gotten worse each time. The chops are still there and they can still hammer out the good material like it was '98, but having material from 4 consecutive albums of shit mixed in with their shows has taken its toll on their shows. I'd be a real crotchety motherfucker if I'd been around for the Grassroots/Soundsystem era shows.

It's definitely a deal breaker. One of my most miserable concert experiences was when my favorite band played that venue in August. And it wasn't because the band had a bad night.

It was better than Uplifter, but that's about the extent of the good things I can say. There were moments that showed a little promise, but in the end it sounded like a cheesy caricature of stuff from their prime, to me.
