Saw a preview for it the other day, figured I'd set the DVR to record it in case it was good. Damn, it was!

If you haven't seen it, watch it. Young couple, 2 kids, look like every other family, except, they are Russian spies! That's all I'm saying...

FX series are usually pretty good. I haven't watched this yet but will before to long I liked the previews I saw while watching Justified.

Looks like FX has the first episode on line for free.

The Americans is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President. The arranged marriage of Philip and Elizabeth Jennings grows more passionate and genuine by the day, but is constantly tested by the escalation of the Cold War. Tensions heighten upon the arrival of a new neighbor, Stan Beeman, an FBI agent.

They weren't very good at explaining what the show was about until the past month or so when the previews ran. I actually had to go online to find out more info. Sounds interesting, at least, so I set the DVR up. Will watch it sometime this morning, probably.

They've always been that way. They start promos and short spots months in advance, and they usually don't give any info or actual previews until a month or two before its going to air. They obviously try to create a buzz by really only giving the name of the show, and air date.
