Who cares if it was open? In a real life situation he's not going to his hand off his rifle to politely open the door....bro.

If anyone has a flight on one of the newer AA planes, it's one of the free movie selections available right now.

I, personally, enjoyed that dialogue. Their situation has become a textbook example of right vs. wrong and the grey area in between for military studies. It's very easy, in a movie situation, to say they made the wrong call. But as a human, that define their lives.

I haven't watched the movie to many times since I first saw it but I plan on buying the DVD mostly for the extras. For those of you that don't know, there's a documentary on Murph that's worth a watch. I downloaded it and it was OK but gives a lot of background on him.

Lone Survivor came out on DVD and PPV today.
I watched it on PPV, and wow, what a movie. The very end, just before the credits, is what really got to me though.
    Excellent, excellent movie.
This...I bought got my blu ray copy. Must have movie for anyone's collection.

While I didn't serve I agree whole heartedly. That is one of the things I liked about Band of Brothers as it showed some similar scenarios.
