Apples and oranges. Games are a completely different thing. Street Fighter II is still fun as hell. Who cares about story when you're actively participating in the ass kicking? That said, some games do blur the lines. I still love the story behind Assassins Creed 2.

    A ringing endorsement.

The movie sucked, it was all over the place and I lost interest pretty early on. All the hype for nothing.

Your saying Smith was HoT. Your gay

movie was good, for the amount of time they had to play the movie. Could have been a two part movie. Anyone see the end credits? One thing i am tired of seeing is movie actor/actress playing in Marvel then in D.C. movies. That black chick, i keep getting reminded of her scene from The Avengers.
Good movie , the end action scene was lame and the point leading up to it was also.

It was okay. Should've just been called the Margot Robbie and Will Smith movie(featuring the guy from the Robocop remake). Every other character was just there. Diablo was cool for a total of like a minute and a half. Jared Leto as the Joker was an emo little bitch. I'd give the movie a 5/10. Smith was great. Robbie was good...but annoying at times...super hot though.

This doesn't make any damn sense. Like that letter says, at it's heart, movie making is story telling. A good movie is good because it tells a good story. The Dark Knight and The Avengers are good because the story is good, regardless of if they'r "comic book movies" or not. That's not even a thing that costs extra money. Just stop mailing it in and throwing a big budget at the effects (shitty Transformers movies) and tell a compelling story.

To put it another way, "fun" isn't good enough if the story sucks.

To put it yet another way, "entertaining" requires investment in characters and story that are well crafted and delivered. For me at least.

Same thing here. Bad guys being forced to fight for the "good" guys. Could have been better, but it was still not horrible.

See these movies as if you were 12 again. When you were really into comics.

Just finished watching this tonight. I had high expectations for Suicide Squad and walked out a little disappointed. I know they edited and did re-shoots months before the release. I'm curious as to what was changed and also what the other version they had in mind looked like. I wish they'd release it as was, just like BvS. Ive seen the ultimate edition clips and if they had kept with that the movie would have been way better; not saying I don't like the theatrical release. There were some funny moments and I liked the quick backstories but it was missing the serious undertones that BvS had. I know most people hated how dark BvS but I liked that. Suicide Squad should've stayed with that, what they put out seemed cheesy at times. I liked what little they showed of Joker, fucker is insane but they had cut out alot of his scenes. If they go Arkham Asylum on the next Batman movie, which is rumored, then I hope we get to fully see Joker like we were supposed to. One thing is for sure....quit fucking doing re-shoots and cutting out scenes at the last minute. The animated version was way better and I guess that's what I was expecting. I'll have to rewatch it sometime and really let it sink in.

    6/10-me
    5/10-my son.

    ^^Solid!

It was worth the $6 I paid to see it, but that's about it. They went overboard with the cheese, and The Joker was way more creepy than he was scary.
