Why didn't they fly? Why didn't they use heat vision? The suits were made to help them in any environment. They never received full exposure like Zod did after his helmet was damaged.

They acted just like Superman did before he discovered he could fly. They had to discover the powers. The sun amplified their natural movements, they didn't know about flying and heat vision yet.

The only one who reacted to the yellow sun was Zod. The rest had their suits that provided them with their strength. Their suits negate their exposure. Even Zod explains to Superman that being a soldier they're trained to adapt to their environment quickly.

I was not impressed. The bad guys sucked at acting, and the fight scenes were lame.

The only thing I can think is they purposely made this one semi-suck so the next couple of episodes could shine.

Sequel semi confirmed, Perhaps Justice League or Batman/Superman movie in the near future.

They really hit it out of park with this movie.

Reason why they didn't have end movie credits is because Marvel already knew they were going to do the Avengers so thats why. They don't know if they're going to do Justice league or not.

They weren't expecting Man of Steel to do this well so now they're gunning for a 2014 December sequel with a JLA movie in 2015. They put all their eggs on this one movie alone. Christopher Nolan is expected to have a lesser role in the production of the next movie. Makes me wonder if they had something ready in case the movie didn't flop.

Good point, but really I would rather see a Batman / Superman mash up than a Justice League movie right now.

Lets see if they can nail two superheros' instead of all of them at once.
