Trying to rob me from what I could gather, yeah I was in a stupid situation, my vette was damn near out of gas and I didn't want to run out for fear of burning up my fuel pump (common problem). Shouldn't have pulled into that gas station, attracted the wrong kind of attention, and I was well aware and alert.

Glad she had the foresight to give you a call and quell the situation, could really have been a bad outcome. Is she considering carrying now?

this is true. The only time you will get in trouble is when a police officer searches you... If you never do anything wrong there will never be a reason to search you to begin with, hence why do you need a chl if its justifiable to defend yourself with an illegally conceaaled weapon?

It would look a LOT better if/when it goes to the grand jury, as all shootings do. If nothing else, a CHL shows that the shooter has gone through some kind of training and legally possessed the weapon.

Unfortunately we can't send a hurricane or tornado to that part of town. Glad she didn't become a statistic. I have several friends that live in the Magnolia St area and I always feel safe there but just a few blocks over it's a hell hole.
