I don't have either of those, but I will have my Colt Mustang SS .380, and you're welcome to try it. Of the guns available nearly 20 years ago when I got it and my CHL, it was a great choice. Now there are many more choices just muddying the waters.

Does anyone thats coming have a Kel Tec P11 or a High Point compact 9mm? I'm looking at them as a possible CCW because of their small size and weight (not to mention price) and I want to shoot them to see if I care for either one.
From what I've read in numerous forums the High Points have an incredibly good warranty program and other than styling appear to be very well made guns.

If I ride my bike up (backpacking it) I will be bringing:

Norinco (Tokarev) 9mm semi-auto and a box of FMJ target rounds.
Taurus Falcon .38 spcl revolver and a box of 158gr hollow points.

If I bring my truck I will be bringing the above mentioned guns+

Marlin model 60w .22lr semi-auto rifle
Marlin model 336w lever action 30/30
Remington 870 12 guage

I just saw a PM from him where he is a maybe. There are a few others on the list that are maybes also and I am questimating 15-16 will be the final number at the end of next Friday night.




As a heads up folks. Starting Saturday night CST until Tuesday morning CST I will be off line. I depart Afg on Sunday morning (CST+9.5) and will be in and out of airports.
