I have seen several in the $3k price range. However, I am not going to give $3,000 for a rugger 10/22. Fun to shoot sure, way overpriced, very much so. I do see Mac 10/11 22lrs a lot though. For a Mac 10 that is a .45/.22lr @ $4500 isn't a bad deal.Originally posted by David View PostGood luck with that. If you want a full auto .22 you're stuck at about $5k+.

A lage mac can run a 22lr conversion, but a kit is not out for the .45 yet.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

Those fire from a closed bolt, but are very fun rifles to shoot. A guy at my office has one with a triple rail setup and an eotech.Originally posted by GSXRK5 View PostGood info, I've decided i'm gonna buy a PS90.
It may be my next purchase as well, although I am also leaning towards a V53 sbr.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

Yea I knew it operated from a closed bolt but I remember you mentioning something about wanting a PS90 or something. I wasn't sure if i wanted the FS2000 or PS90 and finally decided on a PS90.Originally posted by DOHCTR View PostThose fire from a closed bolt, but are very fun rifles to shoot. I think i'm gonna go the triple rail setup myself.

Both weapons are really neat and you can not go wrong with either one. I am sure you will be happy with the PS90. Just make sure you submit the form 1s right when you get itOriginally posted by GSXRK5 View PostYea I knew it operated from a closed bolt but I remember you mentioning something about wanting a PS90 or something. Very interesting; I knew how an open bolt worked but I had no idea of the ATF rulings circa 1982. Good info and as stated above just another reason to not like the ATF. Also, I did not realize that there were two types of mac 10s (pre ban open, and post ban closed). Good stuff to know, regardless of if you ever plan on buying one.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Yeah, all of the modern day "thompsons", "uzis", and "sten/sterlings" only resemble those weapons externally and are entirely different functionally.Originally posted by LANTIRN View PostVery interesting; I knew how an open bolt worked but I had no idea of the ATF rulings circa 1982. IMO, do not trust a closed bolt weapon that was originally designed as an open bolt gun. In my experience they are unreliable.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.
