SUPER cheap plinking gun. I can swap the upper to .223 whenever I want to shoot some of my brass. I am used to the clean up procedure after shooting, I have to strip my Bulgy AK-74 down and clean it with hot water / soap after ever range trip. I don't mind, just the price to pay to shoot spam cans full of ammo at like .13 cents a round.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostMotoman ran across one yesterday. I'm not sure why you would want to shoot corrosive ammo through an AR-15 though.

Yeah that makes sense, if you don't mind the scrubbing.Originally posted by IHaveAMustang View PostSUPER cheap plinking gun. I can swap the upper to .223 whenever I want to shoot some of my brass. My Polish Tantal gets the same treatment after range trips. First (and only) time I left it dirty the damn muzzle brake didn't want to let go of the barrel threads. Now I just spray it down with windex, remoil, and give it a good stroking.Originally posted by IHaveAMustang View PostSUPER cheap plinking gun. The only time a muzzle break is pinned is when the barrel itself is less than 16". There are 20 things that you can use. if you switch to a tapco magazine, you can put 3 imported parts on it for instance. If CAI shipped with a US magazine, you could be in violation now with those bakelite mags. CAI usually omits them from 922r though.Originally posted by Mr_Fiux View PostThey screw out to the left or right?

Oh shit that is right. If i take it out I need to put another american made muzzle break since it won't be 922r compliant"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

It's reverse threaded with the front sight indexing notch. My tantal came with one metal surplus mag and another plastic mag with a raised 2 at the bottom on the left side. No other markings but it does look like it's a Tapco product.Originally posted by Mr_Fiux View PostThey screw out to the left or right?
