check out GTdistributors.com neat shiloh road and NW highway. They have great deals on new guns. Bushmaster .223 brand new for 840 and colt .223 for 100 bucks more. I haven't found a better deal on new guns in DFW.

neither did the s&w at CTD. they guy said that the new ar-15's have came along way since the 70's and that the forward assist isn't needed anymore. i don't know how true that is, but it sounds logical to me.

I've had good luck at S&R Sales in Mesquite. It's a pawn shop, but they sell new ARs, up to mid-range as far as name brand goes.

Generally the run from 499 - 1500ish all complete rifles.
