I love my Savage .270, put a Buckmaster 4.5x14x40 on it and made a kill at 422 yards. Paid around $425 on sale and the scope was $310.

Didn't know they offered 700's scoped, interesting. I can't get your link to show a price no matter what zip code I put in.

Soap I think that was a 770, never seen a 700 cheaper than $500 either. If it is a 700 I would grab one at that price.

You can see the piece of shit camo 770 next to the camo 700, the 770 has the plastic trigger guard, 700 has steel. You can also see the 700 ADL does not have the hinged floor plate. Barely see in the pic, but both are scoped with a cheap Remington branded scope, most likely a low end Bushnell.

Well I stand corrected. I just didn't want him to end up with a 770 thinking he was getting a 700. I didn't know the details/features, but I knew the 770s were lower quality.
