    Honestly I wouldn't bother. I'm a proponent of just some thick MDF topper. When it goes to shit you can just throw another $12 sheet on it. I like to cut, clean, bang on, etc.. so I don't want pretty. Sometimes with laminated tops you get a static buildup and your powder sticks to it like it's spot welded.
