I forgot about the .40. I was thinking .45 ACP 1911s.Originally posted by ThreeFingerPete View PostSlamming your dick in a door beats owning most Para Ordnance products, unless you get one of Todd Jarrett's "Para" guns.
What's "Budget"?
You finger fucked my VIP at the last GTG. Don't try to play it off now!

When it comes to double stack 1911 style guns, you're pretty limited. STI, SVI, Caspian, Para Ordnance and one Kimber model are pretty much the only options. The para ordnances feel like holding a 2x4 compared to the STI guns, and the SVI guns are decidedly slimmer than the STI stuff. The Kimber is pretty square in the grip but not too bad. I've put a few hundred rounds through one.Originally posted by Big A View Postlol I can't help but think that you are now to STI what Alex is to HK.

CDNN has 1911s for $349, 5" barrel, matte blue.
The slides are marked "1911-A1" so you know they have to be good. They have the super pimped out chrome and gold hardware tauruses for under $450, just for comparison...
On a serious note, they have a lot of springfield inventory. All of those are call for price, but they start at $570.

I have had a couple different brand of 1911's, I always end up going back to Springfield. Damn good guns, IMO.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostMy next 1911 will be a Springfield.
I just saw that Kimber BP10 double stack and got interested. If Springfield had a double stack 1911 model, I'd be all over it.Matts1911SA - XBox Live Gamertag

I probably wouldn't be interested in a double stack 1911. Having owned an XD .45 that was double stack it can get pretty heavy and that was a polymer gun. Couldn't imagine a steel frame double stack 1911.Originally posted by NTexas_V-Star View PostI have had a couple different brand of 1911's, I always end up going back to Springfield.
