The cool thing about the dracos is that since they are pistols and imported as such, they are not subject to 922r and thus all parts come from one factory.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

So what you're saying is Century doesn't have an opportunity to screw it up? My brother has one, the finish and wood is pretty half assed, I don't know how they shoot. And it is a Romanian AK btw.Originally posted by DOHCTR View PostThe cool thing about the dracos is that since they are pistols and imported as such, they are not subject to 922r and thus all parts come from one factory.
From J&G sales ad:
hmm.. who knows if that's just their general CAI disclaimer, or if it's true. What do these things run? This firearm was assembled by Century Arms International and may contain both new US made parts and original used surplus parts. May or may not include cleaning rod."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

They don't, but I wouldn't trust the Romanians to make a paper clip correctly.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostSo what you're saying is Century doesn't have an opportunity to screw it up?
From what I have heard, the dracos are better than the WASRs mechanically.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

Yeah that can't be too hard, honestly, haha. I was bump firing a WASR a few years back at night, and I had fire flying out of everywhere... chamber, dust cover, op rod tube, gas block, everywhere... the thing was a damn bomb.Originally posted by DOHCTR View PostThey don't, but I wouldn't trust the Romanians to make a paper clip correctly.

Sure draco can be rebuilt with a fixed stock trunion, after it's registered obviously. Once you do the SBR conversion you still have to be 922 compliant stock, grip, hammer, trigger, disconnector, and a forearm would do it Thread the barrel and use a US brake
I'd also knock off the rear sight and weld on the HK drum to the top cover

You can bump fire a rifle without a special stock.Originally posted by onemeangixxer7502 View PostWhat is the other "cheaper" alternative. Ive been jocking this guy about his colt m16 for smooth minute and its a looooot more than that stock."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Not as easy for sure. It's definitely an acquired art/skill to do from the shoulder, but it's just as smooth. like the next guy said, minus a slide fire stock its hard to do controllable bursts like a select fire gun. If I find the right deal on the gun Ill go for it but until then Ill wait for a used slidefire to pop up!Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostYou can bump fire a rifle without a special stock.

Yes, it takes practice to do it.
