i'll shoot right hand using vertical grip. im practicing with my weak hand using mag grip,

just don't use rail for hand placement at all.

He's right. You should look at a magpul afg to replace all that junk on your rail, OP. Put one on some MOE grips, and enjoy a much lighter, faster handling rig.

You'd be surprised at the minimal difference in weight between some quad rails and the MOE setup w/ heatshield. We're talking as little as an ounce or two in some cases (this is considering a FF rail, but it is probably closer than you think, regardless)
