I do not re....cell any guns I buy from here...keep them in a safe just waiting to be used.

What prevents someone from selling the gun off a forum, then years later finding the receipt in their filing cabinet and reporting it stolen knowing eventually they will get it back???

Latest news. I have to be at the rangers office at 10am to drop it off tomorrow. A little sad to see it go. But have already gotten the green light to get the .308 I want!

sorry mike, not itOriginally posted by mikec View PostIt's quite feasible, actually. I have a nephew that is hooked on heroin that hangs out in Denton, also where his drug ring is located. This same nephew has stolen two guns from my father in law next door. He also stole my wedding ring one night, then when I went ballistic and called him out on it he magically found it the next morning in his bed. Said he blacked out and had no clue how it made it there. He also hocked all of his mothers jewelry, etc etc. I'm almost willing to bet it's my rifle and that the initials on the pawn ticket are TBR.
Guess we'll know when WT can check the serial for us. Almost hope it's not it just because of the familial ties but at the same time...

That sucks man. But how crazy would it be if it actually did end up being your rifle. It really sounds like it is going to be due to the sling, and your recognition of it. Not that they didn't make more than one or anything, but there seems to be quite a few coincidences.Originally posted by mikec View PostIt's quite feasible, actually. What if someone stole the gun before you had a chance to turn it in
